About the Role

We are looking for a board-eligible or certified Gastroenterologist to join our established gastroenterology practice. This opportunity arises due to a forthcoming retirement within our team. The successful candidate will be employed by our prestigious health care organization and have privileges at our affiliated hospital. The practice consists of 1 experienced gastroenterologist and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, focusing on general GI and advanced endoscopy cases (ERCP preferred, EUS optional). Our advanced practice providers manage the outpatient clinic flow, with inpatient support provided by an experienced hospitalist team. The gastroenterology team operates as a consult-only service, without direct admitting responsibilities. The position also offers teaching opportunities in conjunction with a nearby medical school.

Requirements

  • Board Eligibility/Certification: Gastroenterology.

  • Procedural Skills: Proficiency in general GI and advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS optional).

  • Teaching Commitment: Interest in academic involvement and teaching opportunities.
